Even though some people consider Drupal to be a CMS(Content Management System), We consider it as a CMF (Content Management Framework). The reason being is that Drupal 7 is very developer friendly; you can easily write a custom module and integrate it with your current project. At the same time, Why re-invent the wheel? If there are modules that solve you issue, then why not use them? It's this balance that makes Drupal 7 in our opinion the best platform out there for Web Development.

Besides that, websites developed in Drupal have high security tried and tested code that can be customized for any feature you can think of. Some US government websites use Drupal as there platform.
